Saved and redeemed by Grace, I am a work in progress. My goal is Eternity, my mission, to know Love and make Him known. I believe that Love makes all things beautiful, even broken things, and I want to soak in as much Beauty from life and bring as much Beauty to it as possible. I am learning to love better because I am loved abundantly. I believe life is meant to be seen, tasted, touched, felt, shared, discovered, explored, and I want to embrace all of it, heart, soul, and mind.
I am born and bred Malaysian but like to consider myself a citizen of the world. I mostly write for a living, but more importantly, I write to experience and understand the world around me, and my faith.
I adore travel for the fact it changes me. Every new journey leaves me never the same again. I chase new horizons because looking at a different sunrise reminds me how fleeting and temporal this life is. Unfamiliar faces and places teach me that life is so much bigger than myself and what I know. I am somewhat of a mild adrenaline-junkie with a taste for adventure and the motto “Try everything once” (with the exception of vices, of course).
I also enjoy the simple things like hugs, hot mocha, sunsets, kittens’ tails, a baby’s laugh, a good book, the smell of freshly washed laundry, home-baked bread, and walks in the parks. If I ruled the world, everyone would take afternoon naps, be hugged multiple times in a day, and have home-baked chocolate chip cookies to dunk in milk.
I am blessed beyond measure. Abundantly, exceedingly, above all that I could ask or think. I am so thankful for this privilege of Life, the sheer beauty and pleasure of it, and the amazing people I’ve had the opportunity to share it with. My prayer is that my life would increasingly reflect the abundant measure of grace, love, and blessing that I have been showered with.
